My photography could be best described as ‘transitional’.

When I studied photography in university, the world of photography was going through some major changes.  The curriculum focused heavily on large-format film cameras and studio work.  There was a digital component to my studies, but it was minute and mostly involved the removing of elements from one image and placing them in another to create collage or composite images.  Needless to say, the switch to digital photography came about so quickly, I was somewhat left behind in the transition.

Megapixels, resolution, and file sizes are enough to boggle my mind.  I was always very hands-on and loved to spend hours tray processing in the darkroom.  Computers have all but erased this technology.  Resistant as I might me, I am working on ‘unboggling’ the intricacies of digital photography and relearning the tools of the trade.
